My car
a 2007
only 17,000 miles on it
never ever had one problem with it
got an oil change, new fuel filter & air filter on Monday
dies on Wednesday
and now it needs a new ENGINE!
you heard me - a whole new engine
can't believe it
seriously disappointed in FORD
are my tax dollars really just about to bail them out?
(I know their first bail out plan failed, but I'm sure they'll be getting lots of gov't $$ soon)
good grief

that is NOT cool...i don't think that they should be bailed out...but I do wish you could get bailed out of all this money that you are spending on this thing...that would be nice, huh?? :) sorry about your rough car-problem week. if it makes you feel any better, both of our cars have problems too. :)
Oh Judy that does not seem fair -- I assume Ford is taking no responsibility and it is your problem to deal with. I'm so sorry to hear ths.
oh my...is it still under warranty? My dad was not a ford person--he gave me such a hard time when I drove an explorer! We just had something big go out on the Jeep and it is so disappointing....I hope yours is under warranty!
I thought all cars now days had a three year bumper to bumper warranty that was transferable? They should fix this unless you or the person whom you bought the car from did something to cause this problem. Maybe you should check with another Ford dealer or call the company direct.
That really, really stinks. This is why we own a Lexus and a Toyota....
I hope it's under warranty...keep us posted!
my parents stopped believing in ford back in the early 90's, which obviously causes me be wary of buying a ford myself.
...ford should replace your engine. do you actually have to pay for that?
And yet they wonder why they need bailing out! I'm so sorry you're going thru this. Anna
are you KIDDING me????? There's got to be some kind of warranty or something for this! That's RIDICULOUS!!!!
