We were walking across the Walmart parking lot today. I was pushing the cart with McKenna in it and Emma was holding Christian's hand in front of me. I heard her say, "Christian we need to switch places. You need to walk on the inside and I'll walk on the outside so if a car comes and isn't watching it will hit me first and not you."
Jesus was asked what the most important commandment of all was and this is his response.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
I think Emma's got that second part figured out. How about you?

This Emma-girl never ceases to amaze me with her humble and loving spirit! She has got quite the understanding of not only safety but putting others first! Emma, you are mastering so many things that many adults will never come close to understanding!
i don't know why it changed my posting name to Daniel...its me! Jamie :)
I, too, am continually amazed! Emma is reflecting Jesus' love in every day actions with such maturity. It is a true testament to the loving home that Amy has provided her with and the biblical teachings she is growing up with. And of course, Judy's home is a continuation of that love!

wow!!
Emma is obviously mimicking the Christian examples she is seeing in her families lives. She seems to be a very sweet little girl.
