Happy Birthday PopPop!

Happy Birthday PopPop!! Emma, Abby and Nate love you and love all the time they've gotten to spend with you lately! They're saying "PopPop" in this picture.
And now for a few messages from Christian. Christian is really into "writing" these days because he sees Emma write in her journal almost everyday. The note above says; "Happy Birthday."
"I love you!"
"I love him."

You'll be getting all of these notes in the mail when I actually get your card in the mail ((sigh)). I never seem to send things on time anymore. It doesn't seem to matter that we had your card done three days ago. I must say Dad that I could not have survived the last 11 months without you.

What's a pregnant girl to do when she gets surprised with three extra little people to take care of while being huge with child?
She calls her dad!

What's a girl to do when her tiny baby is in the hospital with the flu and there are three other little ones at home who need someone to take care of them?
She calls her dad.

Who do you call when you need a sandbox built?

What do you do when you're overwhelmed with laundry and vacuuming and crayon on the wall and your flower beds outside really need attention too?
You call Dad!

Who's going to help when the fence needs to be finished up and your husband can't do it because it's fireworks season and he's already spent too many stressful hours working on it?

Who's going to wrestle and burn off the energy of two little boys?

All of us are blessed to have you in our lives Dad! We love you!
