Today we had a pool party at Miss. Angie and Taryn's house. The girls had been looking forward to this all week and they were even dressed this morning when they got to my house (unusual unless they know they're going somewhere). Emma and Abby had such a good time. We all did!
Abby is quite a fish. She really knows how to swim and can go anywhere she wants with her life jacket on.

Emma got to show off her new skills that she learned at swimming lessons. It was amazing to see her little head go under the water over and over again.
Christian spent most of his time playing on the steps. He did fall in, head first into the deep end, which was a little scary! Next time he's just going to have to wear his life jacket all the time - like it or not. I just can't watch all four of them at every moment. Thanks again Taryn for saving him!! I'm glad she and Emma were paying attention!!
Nate got brave and got in the water with Taryn. He fell in too (what is with these boys) but he had his life jacket on. It scared him a little, but his hair never even got wet!
Emma had fun giving Miss. Angie a ride around the pool! Emma thinks she big stuff now!!
Enjoying lunch!
This was McKenna's first real trip to the pool. Only her little toes went in, although I've decided that next time she and I will both be getting in :)

Thanks so much Angie and Taryn!! We had such a good time. The girls kept saying over and over how much fun they had.

Looks like the perfect summer day! Callie falls over all the time in the water - I just tell myself it's good for her! More exposure, right? And she is a FISH! Next time you and McKenna will definitely have to enjoy the water too! :)
