We have a "no touch" fancy nativity set that everyone is allowed to LOOK at, but we also have the FisherPrice Nativity and it is the perfect Christmas toy. I figured that if we have books and toys about Santa, we really need to have books and toys about Jesus. Thanks to my dear friend Heidi McNair, Christian got this for his first Christmas. He was only 6 months old and he put it in his mouth, but this year he's really getting it (if you ignore the cow on the roof of the stable). He now knows who Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus are. He loves to make Jesus go night-nights and he even sings to him. It's so sweet and you know I think it probably is a blessing to the real Jesus!

Judy,
How sweet! I'm sure it is a true blessing to God...it's wonderful to see Christmas through the eyes of a child. The cow on the roof just shows that Christian has a great imagination. When I was little we learned that "the cow jumped over the moon". I guess he landed on the manger. Have a blessed day!

I LOVE that!!! It's so fun to see them play out the Christmas story - it's GREAT to have one that they can play with and work out the story!!!
SO CUTE!! I miss you guys, my daughter sends her love to yours;)
We have this toy in our church nusery. It's somewhat lost on the babies, but at least they're being exposed to it. :) It's so sweet that Christian sings to baby Jesus to put him to sleep. I can just see the love in the real Jesus' eyes as he looks at your son.
I love it...I might need that for our preschool! I'll give it a search on the internet. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
