We're Home!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we're home now. McKenna is doing great and so is her big brother. Christian is very interested in everything McKenna does and he's been showing her his different trains all afternoon. Ryan is asleep on the couch and I got a much needed nap in my own bed. I hardly slept in the hospital and believe it or not I have pink eye. I have never had pink eye in my life, none of the kids have it, and somehow I got it. Go figure! I'm just posting a few of my favorite pictures from the last 48 hours. I'll give you all a full report of McKenna's birth later. Just for the record McKenna was about 100 times easier to deliver than Christian. It was very intense, but everything went well...except for the fact that the doctor missed it all. Three nurses delivered McKenna because she decided it was time to come and wasn't going to wait. Thanks to everyone who was praying for us. I know that this little girl's safe arrival is an answer to many prayers! We give God all the glory for the blessing of McKenna's life!

Welcome home beautiful baby girl!
Judy, looks like Christian is assuming the role of Big Brother wonderfully.
Get some rest... don't spend the little time you have to rest blogging... teach your mom how to keep us updated or let asmy do it. You need to sleep as often as possible.
I love you adn am rejoicign at the Lord's goodness to your precious family.

welcome home!!!! McKenna is so sweet and I definitely think she looks like both of you!!
Oh, I remember finding baby Natalie covered in trains if left alone for 2 minutes with her big brother!
Get some rest--and I do pray that the pink eye doesn't spread!

Hey Judy...I cant believe out of everything that you have going on that you made your way to post something for us out here in blogger-world!! :) I love it...I love all the pics of McKenna. What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl!!
I can't believe that you have pink eye...must have been something you picked up on the hospital or something odd!
I'll be waiting for the labor story and more stories of McKenna and Christian!

What the heck - you got pink eye? Like you don't have enough other things going on!!!! Get some rest girl!!! Enjoy these precious first days. I am LOVING seeing these pictures of Christian with his sister just BEAMING at her!!! She is beautiful, and I am so glad her delivery went so smoothly. By the way, my doctor didn't make it for Callie either - David had to run out in the hallway to get the midwife in there!! Must be something about these girls! :)
