Thomas the Tank Engine

On my way to the grocery store I pass a tractor dealership. I almost had a heart attack when I saw Thomas the Tank Engine in their parking lot. I rushed through my shopping and headed home as soon as a could. I left all the groceries for Ryan to put away and loaded Christian into the car for a "big surprise." He spotted Thomas before we even pulled into the parking lot. He spent the next 30 minutes hugging Thomas, climbing on Thomas and driving Thomas (for pretend of course). Whenever a car would drive by Christian would pretend that he and Thomas were racing the car. I think this was one of the most exciting moments of Christian's life. We just might have to go back tomorrow to visit Thomas with our cousins (although then we'll all have to take turns...hmmm).
This Thomas is really just a shell that sits over top of a tractor. It's really quite an ingenious design. I totally think Grampy Chatt needs to buy this to have on the farm. He could make some serious money pulling little boys around on this thing!

This is probably every two year old boys dream come true...especially Christian's. I am thrilled that he got to go see Thomas. You can see the excitement in his face. You are definitely getting the Mother of The Year Award for this one!!!

For those of you locals who want to know where Thomas is. Head into G-castle, then get on Rt. 11 North(by taking a right at the Sheetz). You'll pass a Rite Aid on your left and at the next traffic light you'll see a tractor dealership. Thomas should be sitting right there in the parking lot, unless some lucky person has bought him. (The tractor dealership is right next to FoodLion).

Too cool. Last year I found out about some of the NASCAR cars being at local businesses, and loaded the kids up for a looksee, and took pictures. All of them loved it. Adam would have loved seeing Thomas. It's great that the owner/manager let Christian climb, and sit in and on it. I know that made his day. Don't know how taking everyone will go, but then again, you never know till you try. Good Luck...

how fun!! around here they actually have Thomas come to a old train depot that is outside of Charlotte somewhere, I told some of my mom's from preschool about it because I have a few that are crazy over Thomas...one kid in my class actually "blows steam" he says like Thomas when he gets mad...he's a little nutty over it all and is constantly relatin everything to Thomas, James, the whole train crew. Its funny and cute...looks like Christian had a great time!!!

Nathan saw that Thomas out the car window on Saturday morning, and kept saying "Christian's Thomas?" and pointing at it!! I completely forgot to tell you about that!! And I think it's so cute that Nathan automatically associates Thomas with Christian!!

That looks way to fun! What a great surprise for Christian! What a great opportunity for you to share some special time with Christian since he now has to "share" you!

Those "Thomas" pictures are great! Christian looks delighted. Too bad we can't bring Thomas to our house.

We may have to go for a little drive tomorrow! Christian looks like he had a ton of fun! Did you know that a real Thomas the train comes every once and a while to the Strasburg RR in Lancaster? It's a little pricy, but the boys loved it!
