You have got to be kidding!

We decided to update the lighting in our kitchen and foyer, so I came home from Lowes with big plans on how Ryan and I were going to install these lights ourselves. Ha!! Look at all those parts...you have got to be kidding...I can't do this. I have never done anything electrical in my life and this probably isn't the time to start. Ryan and I both come from families with very handy men in them, but apparently Ryan didn't get that gene, so most home improvement projects are left up to me (or we just call my dad or brother). My dear brother, Tim, assured me that he could talk me through it on the phone, but I don't think so!! We're calling in reinforcements for this one.

ugh, yeah, that looks like a hard project to me too!! Luckily for us, Daniel is pretty handy and so is his dad and brother! :) But I remember last year when I was in VA he had the hardest time installing 2 ceiling fans!

Yeah, electrical is tricky. David has done light fixtures in our house and my mom's, but it takes some time...and lots of reading the instructions. You've got bigger fish to fry!

Our brother talked me through an electrical project over the phone once, and I only shocked myself twice in the process:) In the end, the light switch actually worked correctly! But you're right - this might be far beyond our favorite phone electrician!!
