St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is not one of those holidays that I usually celebrate. I'm not Irish, so I really don't care, but once you have a school aged child in your life all of sudden these little holidays become rather important. Emma was so excited about St. Patrick's Day because she had to design a Leprechaun trap. She worked on it with Grandmom this weekend and I really wish I had a picture of it because it was quite a contraption. Unfortunately, it didn't really work when a Leprechaun showed up in her classroom while she was away at lunch. Abby also had a tricky Leprechaun visit her preschool class today while she was taking a nap. I guess we've got lots of Leprechauns here in GREENcastle, Pa.
I just had to show you all McKenna's adorable outfit. Her friend Noah (he's in Kindergarten) picked this out for her and brought it to her when she was just a week old. Isn't it the cutest?!?
The outfit says "My First St. Patrick's Day." Too cute!!

The feet on McKenna's little outfit are just too cute to be believed. And I'm so glad you managed to get at least some of the kids in their green today!! I completely forgot.

McKenna's outfit is adorable. Noah did a great job picking it out for her. I had fun helping Emma with her St. Patrick's Day project. I'm glad the little character wasn't caught in any of those traps. It is great to be around young children who have so much enthusiasm for everything!
Love, Grandmom

McKenna's outfit is adorable - soooo cute! And yes, you're right about these funny little holidays being such a big deal once you're in school. We sort of ignored it, except for the fact that all the race stuff on Sunday was all green and there were lots of people dressed up funny.

I LOVE all the pics that you have been posting the last couple of days! That McKenna is too cute for words! Emma is so grown up too especially when she is holding her little cuz. :)
